Gosh, you really have to adore pink, this game shows it everywhere and anyplace. Beside there is a horrible syncro of the young veterinary, her figurine wasn't able to go straight from one spot to another, instead she was zig zagging all the time & the camera control stuck often. All this is fixed in the newer editions of the series, which otherwise have very similar gameplay. I would give Pawly Pets a try, because they added three new languages, German, Italian, French. I doubt that any not natively English speaking pre-teen girl will be able to follow the veterinary explanations of the illnesses with ease.
Do you use Vista or XP? Under Vista start the game once as Administrator, so it can create the save game file. Afterwards it should work with a normal account.
Hm, I didn't encounter this problem, but I was doomed to Vista as I bought my new system, was part of it. I had this odd problem I already mentioned, the ved made the binky all the time, rendering it unplayable, but at least I could save. She just missed to flip her ears, making that performance less cute. Well, I would recommend Pawly Pets, if you didn't play that one before. It is worth the really long download.
