Ashampoo İnternet Accelerator mevcut internet bağlantı hızınızı iyileştirmek amacıyla yazılmış kolay kullanımlı bir araçtır. Fiziksel olarak size sunulan bağlantı hızını arttırma gibi bir şansınız bulunmamaktadır. Yazılımın gerçekleştirmeye çalıştığı işlev de bir arttırma değil, fiziksel sınırlar içerisinde eniyileştirmedir.

Örneğin 512 Kbps adsl bağlantı hızı ile saniye de indirebileceğiniz veri miktarı 64kb'tır fakat çeşitli nedenlerden olayı kullanıcıların hemen hemen hepsi saniye de bu miktarda veri indiremezler.
