install the directx which I included, if you still have problems check your system requirements for this game and always keep your windows up to date, hope it helps...
I have access violation too when running the exe, I have latest directx, running vista ultimate. I did notice when extracting files that there were a number of errors (all the same) below. Any update would be greatly appreciated, as this seems like a fabulous game.
! CRC failed in the encrypted file Diamon Jones - Amulet of the World\resource.fpk (wrong password ?) I am using the 'wendys' password all other files apart from the above seems to have been extracted fine.
Downloading all rar's again hopefully this will resolve the issues I am experiencing. :-)

minionegal, I have XP SP2, DirectX 9.0c, and the game works fine. Click just the first *.rar file, and say 'extract file', and in the upcoming window just type the password 'wendys'. It must be works.

hi, download all files, then extract: make a folder where extract the game, and click just the first downloaded .rar file, and right cick, 'extract file', then in the upcoming window just type the password 'wendys'.

hi, no, when you extract these, 9 parts become 1 extract: 1. make 1 folder where you'll extract the game, 2. RIGHT CLICK JUST THE FIRST DOWNLOADED .rar FILE and select 'extract here', then follow it to the made folder. 4. in the upcoming window type the password 'wendys'.

Oyunun bir bölümünde hata oluşuyor nedendir bilinmez... 3 tane tokmağa benzeyen aletler devamlı köprüde haraket halinde, onlara çarpmadan geçtikten sonra... birkaç işlem yapıyorum, daha sonra yerdeki kayaya ip bağlıyorum ve aşağıya inerken, adam ve mouse işareti yok oluyor... kitleniyor oyun....
