With DisCatalog you can catalog all your disks regardless of which kind of storage medium: hard disks, CDs, DVDs, Audio-CDs, MP3, digital cards like cards in digital cameras etc.
You can import an existing database of the previous version 2.0 directly. It's possible to catalog previews of every file: contents of Word-, Excel-files (e.g. docx, xlsx), thumbnails of pictures and photos (e.g. jpg), ID3-Tags of MP3-files. The search function will search within these previews, too. DisCatalog shows you the exact disk and depository where you find a file.
Get all title information of Music-CDs straight from Online-databases while cataloging. Separate your catalog into different categories for a better overview or use the file filter by file-type. Some categories and filters are already fixed, however you can create custom categories and filters.
You can write notes to every disk, folder or each single file. Create reports of your catalog or parts of it (overview, data disk, details). These reports are basis for direct printing or exporting in different file formats like Word, Excel, Text-file, PDF, Rich Text.

DisCatalog is offeren in three different Editions; Professional- and Enterprise-Edition are fully network compatible:
Standard-Edition The Standard-Edition allws you to use DisCatalog on one single computer. All functions are available. Only one computer can access to the database. This Edition is not network compatible.
Professional-Edition With the Professional-Edition you can use DisCatalog on maximal five (5) computer in one netzwork area to share the same database.
Enterprise-Edition With the Enterprise-Edition you can use DisCatalog with an unlimited number of computer in one netzwork area to share the same database.
