I've been playing this for a few hours now with 3 familes. It seems like you start off with such a little amount of money and it takes forever to earn any to buy anything.

Has anyone figured out how to get your peeps to use the hoses? I bought the tape thinking maybe my guy would fix the leaking one at the rear of the house but he is clueless on what to do.

Anyone want to share their thoughts on this one?

Thank you so much! I love this sort of games. Also, for all of you who are not patient (I know I'm not) there's a very simple way to skip ahead in all these real time running games: just change ahead the date/hour on your computer clock, exit the game (which will save the changes) and then change the date back again. Usually, when i used this trick with the Lost Villagers series, I only changed the date/hour back when i stopped playing for that day (I kept going forward, so I wouldn't change the date/hour a million times). Hope it helps.

It's the beta version so I think there are still a few kinks they need to work out. My peeps get promotions and paid but the amount isn't added to the household funds. Seems the only way to get money is to find coins and such and sell them.

I'm hoping to see a lot more interactions when the final game is released.

to put out the fire in the oven just keep putting your person by the stove, after many times one will go out by the shed and get a fire extinguisher. does any one know how to fix the leaking sink in the kitchen? thanks

How do you make them stay sleep? I command them to sleep and they sleep, but 2 minutes later they are up and have gained no energy.

Both. Each time I try to put my adults on one of the two they're confused and don't know what to do. THey can only water flowers...

buy a canned drink with a flower mark (green can) and give it to them n they'll sleep..

for the hose with water:you have to buy a green tape from the store and then place it near the hose; then put a person in the shower/sink(to release water preasure)and in the same time put someone on the hose to repair it
the hose with bucket: after you repaired the first hose,buy paint from the store and place it near the bucket,then put an adult on the bucket and he will take the bucket and paint the workshop

Does anyone know how to fix the bathroom sink?

Sorina: latte is an italian word for "milk", so I guess it could have smth to do with the coffee machine in the kitchen and a specific object one can buy at the store. The problem is that in this game very often some objects of the store that are needed to achieve some specific task (exemple: the green tape to fix the hose is not available anymore...) suddenly disappear from the list...

does anyone know if they stop having babies when they get older my people are both 50 an i have been tring to have another kid sence they turned 40 but no luck my kid is 17 teen an will soon be off to collage an will have none to take over when my parents die.i treid the needle from the store but still no luck not sure what to do.any help with what to do.thank you.

My couple stopped having babies at 45

cartenw, put your little person in the bathroom by the sink and then put him or her in the shop by the yellow looking wood drawers, he or she will then go over to the red tool boxes and pick up a wrench. then he or she will go back to the bathroom sink and fix the leak and clean up the water. good luck! thanks every one for the wonderful sharing job! it is nice to know we all can be decent and help each other! a really big thanks to the team at down turk, without you all we would not be playing the game at all!

When your couple dies, you recruit a child back from college to take over. It will instruct you how as soon as they die,

missychelle, have you patted them with the reward glove after you put them to bed? i also bought the hammock and they will sleep on it. always reward them with the green glove and they will keep doing the things you like. good luck

cartenw: after solving the 2 hoses puzzle (see above, Sirina's post), send one person to the shed and put it on the watering cans. The person will start to water the flowers (and the ones in the window boxes too)!

Does anyone know how to get my people back to being healthy and happy?

i downloaded the game and have been playing it but all the wall in the house are down and i dont know how to put them up and becuse of that i cant fix the wall with the wall compound cause i cant see where its damaged plus when i look at the help menu it gives me help on virtual villagers not virtual families please help

Unfortunately, praising them to sleep is not working. I have been praising tem like crazy and they still don't stay asleep. :( My people are constantly exhausted. Could it be just a bug that will be fixed in the full version? Anyone have any other suggestions?

actually, the wall is already like that.. after u have fixed the water hose, buy the tool to fix the wall.. put the tool near the bucket (near the sand).. put ur peep n he/she will begin fixing the wall..

When they are exhausted or tired, just let them have a nap, wait for it to be finished and they gain energy.

Anyone know how to cure the hickups?

Aha! To cure the hickups, just hold the person over the kitchen sink...

To cure hickups you have to put the person to drink water in the sink


to fix the robe you need to buy the tape and when you drag a person to fix it MAKE SURE THE PERSON IS EXACTLY ON THE WATER ON THE SIDE OF THE ROBE

I tried everything to make him fix the shower..does anybody know if I need to have level 2 workshop to be able to fiz it??

TO FIX SHOWER - MAKE SURE AN ADULT HAS SEEN THE BROKEN SHOWER, BY PUTTING THEM NEAR THE SHOWER, THEN PICK THEM UP AND PLACE THEM NEAR THE BUCKET IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM.

I CANT FIND ANY BUGS FOR THE COLLECTIONS CAN ANY ONE HELP?

About the bugs....they just appear very occasionally...you need to wait...wait...wait...and check everywhere

the remote control disappeared in one of my families too. it was on the livingroom floor, i made the woman pick it up an than "praised" her for that behaviour. she happily jumped up and down an the remote was gone :(
no chance to get that thing back.
so my family has to live without TV, only when I manually turn it on they can watch.

how do i fix the lint in the dryer!!!!!

none of my adults is able to extinguish the fire in the dryer. the only person was the 14 years old boy. I showed him the fire, took him to the opened shed and the extinguishers - and he did it ^^
his parents turned away every time i took them to the shed. I dont know why... they look at the red bottles an then decide to wash their feet or read a magazine or whatever -.-

When I was installing some video poker game (NOT from here)!!! I had a bunch of alerts pop-up from my anti-virus. Yes, it's overly protective, so when I download from HERE I pass everything through. Yes, my computers health lies in the palms of your hands you guys. :D I ws so used to trusting you guys that I didn't even think not to trust that one other download... *sigh* now my computer won't let me change the time & date!! I'm going to look into it & see how to fix it.
