Ok I have download all folders to my desktop...now what do i do?

These are no folders, these are files. They are packed with WinRAR, a software you can download from here. To extract the packages open amwp_-_Nancy_Drew_Castle_Malloy_CD1.part1.rar and amwp_-_Nancy_Drew_Castle_Malloy_CD2.part1.rar. Extract everything to a folder of your choice. You don't need to open any other of the files you've downloaded. After this operation you have the CD-ROM images you are accustomed to.

they show on my desktop as 11 folders with the compressed files in them.

When I extract the CD1 part 1 and CD 2 part 1 I get 2 of the same files in my new Nancy Drew folder. So I do not know what I am doing wrong. I do have WinRAR and that is how I download from rapidshare.

I don't get the Nancy Drew game Icon or anything :(

I also run Vista.


Now it is asking for a disc to continue.

Hi! I have downloaded all 12 files and extracted them but I just can't get it to work, it keeps saying files are corrupt or missing. Has anyone else been able to get this to work, and if so, other than Winrar what other programs have you used? Do I need something like Alchohol or MagicIso? Thanks!

I have all of these files downloaded and I first extracted the ones from CD2 and then CD1 and I got a folder with several more rar files in them. When I tried to extract those I get a bin file and a cue file. What am I doing wrong? If someone could give a step by step of which files to extract in what order, I will start over and follow it very carefully. Thank you so much!

PS Am I by any chance missing a program to make this work? The bin file and cue file are opening up with the VLC media player icons. Do I need some kind of CD burning program too?

get Daemon Tools and mount BIN/CUE files to Daemon Tools as two virtual CDs. then you can install game starting from CD1.

For those who did not Install yet..here's the step by step.
Step 1:Download all in the link from CD1 to CD2
Step2:After you download its extract the CD1 first to your desktop
then the CD2(same in CD1 procedure)
Step3:Open the folder then open the CD1 folder from the first winrar file you can see the bin and cue file.drag it going to your desktop same as in CD2.
Step4:This Step need daemon tools mount the bin from cd1 then its automatic running installation after that its needs the CD2 unmount the Cd1 bin and mount the bin CD2... now it continue installing wait until it finished
Step5:Play the Game now and enjoy!

Hints:to play not using Nancy drew central just go to c:program file/Nancy drew/the haunting castle Malloy then create a shortcut on castle malloy (application file)

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When Nancy walks screen turns white and I can't see anything but Nancy.When she enter the house screen returns.What's going on?

I'm having some trouble here..
I installed the game, and got the cue files running but when I start the game (through the central or the icon directly) it keeps shutting down. What should I do?
I also had an other Nancy Drew installed on this computer (scarlet hand) which ran for maybe half an hour and shut down too. Now that won't start either. Maybe it's the same problem?

Is there Strategy guide for this game?
