When I start the game the white "loading" line stops before the end, a yellow arrow appears and I get a runtime error message.

After testing for more than a couple of hours, i can say this game rocks!
However i'll wait for the full as the help text/hints are missing (except for the first level). SeattleJen you couldn't have missed the help for the bakery (the first house) as this explanation only appears several levels after the level where you have to make bread.

There is a problem with game configuration file.

Go to the following folder:

C:\Program Files\Realore\Farm Mania Beta\properties

Open files level27.xml and level28.xml with notepad

look for the line with <PumpkinPieBakery> add a slash before >
So it should look like:
<PumpkinPieBakery/>

Save changes and you should be fine.

thanks babyjay , but things stopped working again on level 31. all the fruit and veg disappeared :-(

Well what I did was change the 3 into 0 for levels 31 and 32 and after that every thing else work so far
