@kradtke It does work, maybe you're a victim of the UAC of Windows Vista. It doesn't let you change files in the %program files% and %windows% folders so easily. That does make sense in a certain way and it enhances security, but it is so badly implemented, it really hinders normal treatment of your system. The most reasonable way to circumvent your problem is this: Copy (NOT move) the file partner.xml to another location, perhaps your desktop or your documents folder. Edit it there and save it. Than copy it back and overwrite the existing partner.xml. You'll need administrative rights to do so, but this time Windows asks more or less kindly, whether or not you can grant that permission.
They should show this behaviour in their Mojave experiment, that would invoke some interesting reactions.
Thank you for your help. I did manage to get it to work. Had to put it into note pad to edit. If you were suggesting I had Windows Vista. I don't. I still use xp home. Thanks again for helping me. My 3 year old grandson thanks you too. :) He loves watching the game and helps me play. :)
